What is how to remove page breaks in word?

Here's how to remove page breaks in Microsoft Word:

There are a few types of page breaks, and the removal method differs slightly:

• Manual Page Breaks: These are inserted by the user.

• To remove them, go to the View tab and select "Draft" or "Outline" view. This makes page breaks easily visible as a dotted line across the document.
• Position the cursor directly before the page break line.
• Press the Delete key or the Backspace key to remove it.
• Return to "Print Layout" view to see the updated formatting.
• Section Breaks: These divide your document into sections, each with its own formatting.

• Similar to manual page breaks, use "Draft" view to easily see the section break.
• Position the cursor before the section break line.
• Press the Delete key.
• Important: Removing a section break will merge the formatting of the sections on either side of it. Be mindful of this when removing them.
• Automatic Page Breaks: Word inserts these automatically when a page is full. These cannot be directly removed in the same way as manual or section breaks. However, you can adjust the Paragraph Settings to control how Word handles page breaks.

• Select the paragraph(s) you want to adjust.
• Right-click and choose "Paragraph".
• In the "Line and Page Breaks" tab, adjust options like "Keep with next", "Keep lines together", and "Page break before" to influence how Word inserts automatic page breaks. Unchecking "Widow/Orphan Control" can also help reduce unwanted breaks.
